Modular baghouse dust collectors are used in almost every branch of industry where there is a problem of polluted air.

In order to meet our customers’ needs we have developed a storage tank equipped with a sweeping & discharging system. The tank is used for pneumatic transport systems. Traditionally, pneumatic transport is organized with the use of a conveying fan, which continuously distributes the material into other parts of the system, e.g. into a silo. However, in case of small amount of the waste material such solution is not effective in terms of costs.

This article provides guidelines on the important aspects that need to be taken into account when deciding on the purchase of a dedusting installation for combustible materials (e.g. sawdust or paper dust), which create potentially explosive atmospheres. Such dedusting systems need to be designed and produced in accordance with the provisions of the binding regulations especially those which deal with the issue of ATEX.

In our projects we often need to think out of the box and design solutions for very individual needs – a recent example of this individual aproach is the docking station for dust discharge. Our customer needed to shorten the time that had to be spent on replacing a full container with an empty one. We designed a solution which not only shortens this process to minimum but also enables its service without stopping the production and without extra hands needed.
